Discord Bot Development
Below are the few of the many DiscordAPI-related projects I have worked on.
Jollibot
2023
Tools used: NodeJS (DiscordJS)
A personal Discord bot made for GPOSERS staff. Utilities include a cron-like scheduler for meeting notifications and deadline notifications for the staff Discord, and contest alerts for the main GPOSERS server.
The bot utilizes a combination of node-schedule and Hammertime’s ISO-date converter to be able to display times accurately for our international members.
Threads Yulia
2021
Tools used: NodeJS , MongoDB (Mongoose)
A Discord Bot to create a list of both active and inactive threads in a server… because Discord does not want to.
Numby Guoba
2023
Tools used: NodeJS (Discord JS)
A personal quick reference of Honkai: Star Rail resources. A lite version of Guobot.
I also did maintenance for the following Discord-adjacent bots:
Paiposer
Written in NodeJS (DiscordJS) by Marot Satil
Served as the main moderation tool for the GPOSERS main server and as a famous retweet bot for Twitter’s gpose community (using the Twitter API) before the bot was shutdown in February 2023.
Almabot
Originally written in Python2 (Discord.py) by Alma Emma; Rewritten in Python3
Serves as a Discord Nitro tracker for the GPOSERS main server that records Nitro statistics onto a Google Spreadsheet using gspread.
